Great for leveling get the longer version
This is great for leveling and allows you to feel the greens you will wear that day. I would suggest if you're training for longer putts, go for the longer version. The short version is good for short to medium range shots and observing eye alignment and correct shot technique. The longer version allows you to quantify the backswing to length of shot based on green speed up to a 30 foot swing with pendulum motion.
