Review on 😺 Hartz UltraGuard Purple Flea & Tick Collar: 7-Month Protection for Cats and Kittens by Scott Welch

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I could abuse it, but after strapping it on.

I may have abused it, but after I put it on the cat, the train hangs on the collar and there is nowhere to put it. I could cut the flop, but that would leave less area of the flea collar with the medicine. My cat ripped it off, I found it and was able to put it back on. I want to see how it goes. I figured this thing would break after tearing it off. I just think it has an effect on pests on my outdoor cat. I'm changing my rating to 1 star because after 1 year of using this flea collar and replacing it every 5 months we got a small flea infestation. through the patio door window. If you just stand next to the glass, you might feel like you're seeing some kind of fleas. More importantly for my review change, I've just read a lot of warning signs that Hartz products are toxic and contain carcinogens. Ever since I got these collars I've had health issues that weren't a big deal before. Now I have rhinitis and allergy symptoms that I never had. tetrachlorvinphos in this; maybe all flea products are toxic, but that doesn't change the fact that my cat and I haven't gotten better in 1 year. I have never had a pet allergy and attribute this product to my endocrine disorder. I bought 5, used 3, now I'm throwing the rest in the bin.
