Review on Nokian Tires Nordman RS2 SUV 235/60 R18 107R winter by Adam Nikodem ᠌
I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.
after they opened my garage just before the season and pulled off a set of studded tires (gislaved nord frost 5), I decided to try Velcro (before that, I had ridden on studs all my "driving life" - 10 years). in general, I don’t regret it - the controllability is sufficient, but there is no noise from the wheels, you don’t have to bathe for the dropped spikes. this November there were already snowfalls and ice - so far all pah-pah-pah. I live in the Urals (Hong Kong), mileage is mainly in the city. Auto KIA Sportage.
Pros
- compared to the spikes - the noise in the cabin disappeared, the handling remained sufficient for the city
Cons
- on ice - slippage when starting off and a longer braking distance
