I cook raw food for my dog but I'm concerned he won't be able to get all the nutrients he needs without eating chicken necks or whole prey like fish (I live of water with an endless supply) etc. He had no problems but the bones are SO SHARP and they come out sharp in his poop too. I bought this hoping but not expecting all the bones would come out smooth. It exceeded my expectations! Even the smallest fish bones cannot be seen in the shredded product. I've also used it on chicken necks and it worked like a dream. The turkeys' necks were too big and the machine heated them up while chopping them. No problem! I have a lot of fish and chicken necks and one day I will try other small game. I wish I had bought this many years ago!
