Review on ๐Ÿ“ธ Neewer 24x24 Bowens Mount Softbox with Grid - Compatible with Nikon and Canon Speedlites by Danielle Rodriguez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Pretty good, but the grid is useless.

Ideal for on the go. The bracket that comes with it is for Bowens plates etc. The bracket holds my SB-900 flash well without putting any strain on the flash controller area. With Nikon flashes, you need to push the flash head in as far as possible due to the sensors on the underside of the flash head. The SB-900 barely fits in the hole with the screw in the extreme extreme position. The retractable softbox works reasonably well, attaching to the mount by tension and friction rather than a Bowens adapter. It can be awkward to roll/fold the softbox back into a small form factor for storage in the included pouch. The reticle isn't too big, as it causes visible shadows at all in most scenarios except at the highest flash settings.

Pros
  • New in my collection
Cons
  • Not bad
