Review on Triangle Group TR968 225/55 R17 101 year old by Wiktor Skowroski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

In general, it's a good tire. For the price and quality. I put on the w212 the dimension 245/40 R18 in front and 265/35 R18 in the back. A very good hold in corners, the grip on acceleration is also excellent, but when compared with the pirelli p zero, they are of course a little inferior to them. 10 percent for all indicators. The sidewall of the Chinese is significantly thinner and softer, and the rubber compound itself feels softer than the Pirelli. There is a suspicion that in extreme conditions the Pirelli wears out more slowly than the triangle. That of course generally flew into turns on the verge of fantasy. But if you're willing to pay double the price for that 10 percent performance improvement, great. Somehow a toad crushed me because we have such roads that it is easy to catch a hernia on a low profile and 3 out of 4 Pirelli tires were repaired during the season. It's easier with Chinese. Caught a hernia, you can immediately buy a new one and does not hit the budget. And so not even bad driving characteristics. I recommend in general. ADDITION: After the season of use (20 thousand km) I supplement. Basically, nothing happened. Balancing is normal, there are no hernias (although it flew into the pits a couple of times) The tread was worn out a little, although the driving style was quite aggressive, it often burned nickels on dry asphalt, and braked to the floor from 140 km / h. Of the minuses, only one - a slight delamination of rubber appeared at the edges, but again this is from the limiting lateral loads. Only along the Chuisky tract to Tashanta itself, I drove 750 km along serpentines in the heat at an average speed of 100-120, flying into turns with a whistle. Rubber makes it possible. Well, when it got colder to 10 degrees or less, the grip decreased significantly, apparently the rubber begins to tan. And so everything is fine. So far, the tread is enough so that the rubber does not float, even in deep puddles, up to 80 km. h. Rubber in terms of price-quality ratio is just bombing. Take it, you won't regret it.

Pros
  • price, appearance, strong, not a bad hook
Cons
  • not very high quality workmanship (you can see the seams of the factory soldering rubber)
