Gentle and effective

I no longer worry about cutting my child's nails. The file is small so it doesn't rub the skin. He files his nails neatly and I don't even trim them beforehand. It's quiet so won't startle the child and makes the process quick and easy. The file is also better because it dulls the nails so they aren't sharp enough to scratch the face (unlike trimming). I would recommend using this device once a week or more to keep up with it.
