I have been using this product for over a year now. I have two, one for the bedroom TV and one for the portable dehumidifier in the bathroom. Both work well and they saved me a lot of electricity as these devices turn off after a while. I recommend them because they will save you on energy bills for certain devices. There are no problems with burnt adapters. I think people with burnt adapters have too much current flowing through them. These are household adapters. If you are using them for any type of indoor greenhouse or other high current commercial application I recommend finding a professional product. Lighting, kitchen appliances, televisions, and other consumer electronics shouldn't use enough power to burn out. Use common sense.
