Like many others, this tree can look like a crumpled mess right out of the box. The first problem was that it was bent and tilted to one side. It was out of place when applying the plaster. I went through all the steps to come back and decided for myself how long it would take and finding the item to return it wasn't worth the effort so I put in a bit of effort. Magnet under the bottom and everything was ok. A small pebble would probably work just as well. The burlap on the tree is there all the time and quite ugly. I put the new "pocket" on top of the original burlap and that changed everything. A low branch was much longer than its counterparts, so I had to bend it a bit to fit the shape. Allow some time to fiddle with the branches to keep them full. Adding beautiful decorations made a big difference and it received multiple compliments. I've had time to play around with it; but if you don't, you can avoid it.
