If you want to change the lighting in your room and want to experiment with colors, then this lamp is an inexpensive way to do it. Its cons: with the light of such a lamp, you can read a paper book while lying on the bed, if the brightness is turned to the maximum. If there were some kind of removable reflector to the lamp, then the brightness could be reduced and the light would only go where it is needed, and not illuminate the whole room
