Review on Kingston Brass KB964 Magellan Widespread by Aaron Collins

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Small, difficult to turn on (and in California they have very low water pressure, more like a drip).

If you are purchasing these faucets in California, be aware that new laws taking effect January 1, 2016 will reduce water use by 50%. This low flow of water makes it inefficient to use faucets for certain tasks, such as cleaning razor blades. And I use the faucet twice as long for most tasks anyway. I don't blame Kingston for that. But if water flow is important to you, remember that not every other state has this stupid restriction. What disappoints me about my Kingston faucets, which I bought for more dual-sink bathroom amenities, is that they look miniature. My other faucets are from Am. Standard and Kohler are twice the size. I've been trying to get used to it for the past few months, but it's hard. Another problem is that I have to turn the faucet 90 degrees to get pathetically low flow, while my other faucets use less than half the water. this round. Actually, I can't open the faucet with one movement, but I have to grab the handle again. That's absurd. My plumber told me it was. I called Kingston and they couldn't help me. If you're buying them for use in California, be aware that new water laws, effective January 1, 2016, will reduce water use by 50% or more. It's like a trickle plus you have to run the faucet twice as long and it no longer allows you to clean things like razor blades. If you need small faucets that are difficult to open, you might like these.
