I needed a larger keyboard than the 2.5 inch on my long thin phone. I'm actually writing this on a tablet. The phone part works with a red pocket sim for $30 a year assuming I can get the tablet working at 3g. Go to settings and look for"Network Type". The tablet has volte but I think the red bag doesn't allow volte? The screen is great, watched a few 8k videos. The phone did not work with the Mint sim. The tablet gets 4g LTE on multiple bands, including band 66 where it gets the full 5+ bands. A 7 inch tablet with the same resolution would be best for me. I think once these phone companies move away from 3G this phone will perform better. It has a switch for volte, but mvno didn't fully accept volte. The tablet appears to be running pure Android. Red Pocket uses TMobile. First I activated the SIM card in the phone. hope it lasts
