My daughter LOVES it!

I bought this camera for my daughter to make YouTube videos to share with friends and she loves it! little problems. First, the quality of the recorded video is pretty good considering two things. 1. It's "only" 1080p - High Definition, not UHD. 2. This is not a professional camera. Both are clearly stated in the product description, so anyone who buys this camera and expects it to perform like a camera that costs 10-20 times more is a fool! For a consumer product, the picture quality is very good, even in low light. Night vision is acceptable. I'm a little bothered by the placement of the IR lights, but my daughter had no problem with that. Remember that you need a high quality SD card to get the most out of this camera. We're using a 128GB Class 10 Ultra UHS-I SDXC memory card, which we also bought here at Revain. The sound quality is pretty good too, and it's even better with an external microphone mounted on the hot shoe. Please note that the external microphone that originally came with the camera did not work out of the box. The blue "on" indicator did not light up and produced only a faint static hiss. The internal microphone works perfectly. That said, the seller was VERY quick to send a replacement external mic that works great! The battery life seems on par with other cameras of this type (Consumer Digital Video) that I have used or owned and this package even comes with a spare battery. Only two complaints in this section. The only way to charge the battery is to connect it to the camera and the camera to a suitable (included) power source. This means you cannot charge the spare battery while using the camera. The second issue with the battery isn't really the battery itself, it's the instructions. The manual doesn't say anything about how to charge the battery or whether you can run the camera directly from a USB power source. It's not hard to understand, but it's a pretty serious omission in the documentation. The included wide-angle/macro lens combo is also a very nice addition, along with a lens hood, remote control, storage pouches (for camera and accessory lens) and all necessary cables. For the price this is a feature packed camera with great video! Also, the seller did an excellent job of making sure my daughter and I were happy with this purchase and quickly replaced anything that didn't work properly.
