It looks like a well made set of cables and is a great bargain, especially if you want to use it as a charger instead of using the USB data path. I bought them to be able to use the short cable in my car, but I encountered some anomalies when I connected USB to both Macs in my car. They didn't initially establish a data session, but first connected to the Apple cable and then switched to one of these cables.
