This USB C hub is actually a mini dock. You just plug it in and just plug in all your desktop devices like keyboard, mouse, printer, monitor, network etc. The SD card reader and audio jack are good but I haven't used them yet. Since I can plug it into power, I only have to connect one cable to my laptop when I'm at my desk, which I really appreciate. If you plan to do this, make sure you connect the power supply to the power source marked for it. Your laptop won't charge if you plug the power into a different USB-C port (I've made this mistake a few times because I didn't realize they were different). It feels solid and nothing comes cheap. My only two nitpicks: * I would have preferred the angled USB connector for connecting to a computer. This makes it easier for me to keep it behind my laptop and out of sight. * Please mark the USB-C connector for power delivery more clearly. Until I realized there was a difference, my laptop died and I didn't understand what was going on. It's also my fault for not noticing that the two ports were the same.
