I have purchased this item twice. The first set was on my second BMW a few years ago and worked fine. I recently bought a car of the same model year and one of my first purchases was new grilles. Without warning, the driver's side flew off while driving on the freeway. He hit me in the windshield and then let the MB dodge behind me. They are of poor quality and dangerous. And they are not shiny at all. Simply dip PlastiDip into your existing grids. At least they can't cause an accident!
