I've been thinking about installing a house station for a long time. I read the reviews and ordered Panamax. I've had my electrician install it since we finished extending the house. It was easy to install and I'm glad I have protection as we are in a rural co-op and live in a lake area where there is a lot of lightning. I think surge protectors are required in Canada, but they haven't found much use in our area. For added protection in a new home with new appliances, this only makes sense. I just hope he never has to do his job.
