Not the best option for computers and accessories

Desktop) that will work just fine. Adhesion isn't very thermally conductive, but it works. In such cases, I would recommend thermal paste instead. If your subject requires the heatsink to be mounted vertically (like mine) or face down, adhesion will be weaker. Adhesion to these blocks is very poor! Both when cooling and when sticking to the product to be cooled. In this case I would go for cheaper non-adhesive blocks and use a thermal epoxy. Where would it work well? Well if you have an item that is mostly stationary but can be moved at times (like a radio or desktop pc) but stays mostly vertically oriented (with the sink mounted horizontally and pointing up). Adhesion is enough to prevent the cooler from falling due to slight lateral movement. In short: I wouldn't use them. I would buy a nonstick coating and provide my own sticky solution. Double sided tape or a regular epoxy mixed with carbon will provide better adhesion and heat transfer than the glue used on this sink!
