Connected to my manifold's tank and hose and no refrigerant came out. It can be a reusable type which this valve should be compatible with. Tried different grip positions. full in, full out, stopping in different positions, turning from full in to full out. Nothing. When I removed the faucet from my manifold hose, the 1/4" male connector came loose from the body. At that point, I threw that junk in the trash and switched to the old-fashioned faucet valve on the can side (penetrating) and completed the refrigerant charge. This became uses some refrigerant but that is normal.I ordered a faucet valve (ACT1013) from my Snap-On dealer and it works great with resealable bottles. If you plan to actually finish your refrigerant work, do yourself a favor and invest you into a good one, not this one.
