Great way to add high definition devices
I have a lot of 4K sources and my new Sony TV only has two 4K inputs, one of which is occupied by the ARC soundbar. This allowed me to connect my Fire 4K and 4K Blu-ray Disc player to the same input. The switch does not affect the video quality. Sometimes the simpler is better, and this is a good and easy way to add a device.
