After years of using traditional nail polish I finally decided to go into the fashion industry and get a gel manicure! After researching online I chose this kit based on its rating, price and color choices. When the kit arrived everything was included which is good. Everything works as promised, but I have a few tips for beginners like me :01. Make sure to buy/use the top coat and base coat which you need to buy separately from this kit.02. Use 60 seconds between each layer. I used 30s and one of my nails started peeling off after a few days because the bottom layer wasn't fully cured. After I switched to the 60's I had no problems.03. As another reviewer suggested, do this with one hand, then two thumbs last. Thumbs don't heal properly in the light if for some reason you don't do it separately!04. It really takes time to paint your nails. They don't dry until you've cured them, giving you plenty of time to make them look perfect.05. Do not let the gel come into contact with the skin. Excess can be easily removed with an acetone brush. Can I only praise the seller? One of the tubes had debris (like tiny bits of black plastic) so I contacted the seller through Amazon chat. They responded quickly and sent a replacement paint + free gift! It made me feel like they really value my business and are genuinely sorry for the defective product. So if you have any problems/questions contact them and they will fix it! In general I am satisfied with the product, the seller and my first experience with the gel. The nails look so shiny and last so long, I don't think I can go back to traditional nail polish!
