I bought these shoes at the last minute as a replacement for dance shoes before a Contra dance festival so wore them for the first time as I was dancing for 3 hours straight . . I bought 3 at a time to make sure the size was right for me. I usually wear 7.5 shoes, but I chose 7 dance shoes because they have a wide base. So far they have worked very well. I danced in it 3 times. On the first night of the dance, I wore thin, elegant wool socks and had a blister on my upper body. But since then I've been wearing thicker socks and that seems to help. There are no more corns and I keep dancing for at least 3 hours at a time. They are very light, comfortable and great for turning on the floor. I'm curious to see how long they last but so far I have no complaints about the shoes. Yes, and they fold up nice and compact. Thanks very much!
