HORRIBLE plastic feel and NOT WIDE AT ALL

For a tennis shoe this is a complete disappointment and really bad. I have liked the NB brand for many years, but I did not expect this. I was expecting them to fit my very wide feet given the size and was pleasantly surprised at the price but once they arrived and I tried them on I realized why they were so cheap. You are terrible. They have a very stiff, plastic feel and there is no malleability or flexibility. As for the width, it's a total failure because they weren't wide enough. The weird thing is there seems to be an option for men that looks exactly the same and I was wondering how they could fit but figured I wouldn't even bother considering I didn't like the fit at all do not like. The insole looks like it's made out of cardboard, and it might as well be, but I'm guessing at $38 you really do get what you pay for. I also appreciated the thought that if they came with lousy pads (as they were) I might have an extra place to buy good gel pads, but that hope was dashed the moment I put them on, since it was clear that they were just too tight. through the bridge of foot and didn't budge at all. The whole shoe feels like slipping into a pair of tight patent leather shoes and that's not good at all. It's a shame NB made them as I don't think they sell much - hence the low price and they're cheaply made. You get what you pay for. In the end I decided not to spare any expense and went to an actual tennis shop to try on the shoes I needed. While I won't mention what brand of shoes I ended up buying, I can say that there wasn't a single NB shoe in this store, and I think there's good reason for that. NB should probably stick with their hiking/running shoe lines.

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Has imperfections
