My cat has a sensitive stomach so I am always careful when I give her new food, she took an interest as soon as I opened the pack. I feed them a few bites and then mix foods regularly. I did this for a few days, feeding her more of this food and less of the other until she was done with that food. It took her a few days to get used to it, the first few days she had gas issues, yes I could smell it. But it passed, and after that she was perfectly fine. There were no problems with the tablet at all. She loves the taste, the pieces are the perfect size to chew. I love that it's made from quality and healthy ingredients, my cat loves it too. I feed wildcats and they like it too.
