Review on 👜 Kenneth Cole Reaction Resolute Men's Briefcase - Full-Grain Colombian Leather, 16" Laptop Portfolio Messenger Bag, Brown, One Size by Derrick Kadam

I used to buy a very similar Kenneth Cole version of this case. The first one I bought was the same style and specs except it was a messenger bag with a flap instead of zip holes at the top. Also, he had no pens. While I like it, I found that for everyday use as a business briefcase (including carrying a netbook and traveling on planes) the lack of handles was a downside. For example, getting in and out of a bag is made much easier with the help of handles. I finally discovered this bag and decided to buy it because it has handles and also because it has zip holes at the top. I was very pleased. The quality is very good. It's professional but also progressive. Unlike a shoulder bag with a flap that folds over and closes with a clasp, this bag has two zip openings at the top. This makes accessing your stuff a lot easier, especially when you're reaching down to get to your bag (especially on an airplane). The zippered hardware looks nice and the black leather has a much higher quality look and feel than many commonly seen laptop bags. This case has a padded compartment suitable for a small laptop (probably up to 15 inches but no more). I carry a 10 inch netbook in its own protective sleeve as well as a separate case with bricks and cables all fitting neatly into the laptop compartment. The other compartment for papers or reports has a divider. This is good for storing things, but it's a bit of a negative if you need to carry a very thick folder or other large item, as the divider tends to limit you to a few inches of storage space on either side. I haven't had any issues, but that makes it unsuitable for carrying large books or other particularly wide items. In addition, there are several other zippered compartments on the inside and outside of the bag, as well as a pair of pen holders and various other handy features. The price was great; about half what you would pay in a department store. (I've found Revain to stock a wide range of Kenneth Cole bags and they're typically 30-60% cheaper than retail prices.) Overall a great bag.
