Did what I wanted
This hanger did what I wanted. Keeps my crotch against the wall in my pantry. I tried using stone inserts but they didn't go in the hole they were supposed to. I just screwed it into the wall without them. The instructions said to use black inserts but I went with white ones. They weren't screwed into the drywall, they were too big to go through the hole, so knowing the stair rungs weren't too heavy I just screwed the screws into the drywall.
