We started using one of those silicone toothbrushes when we were starting to teeth but now that the teeth have come out it's time for a real toothbrush. This is the perfect brush for beginners. The bristles are soft, the head is small but large enough to clean teeth and tongue, and the handle is easy for a child to pick up and "brush" themselves. Using Jack N' Jill Natural Toothpaste, Banana, 1.76 oz (2 pack) was the perfect combination. I love the fact that this brush is also made in the USA. I plan on continuing to get these toothbrushes as the child grows up.
