I tested it for more than two days: it tears paper easily and also rejects credit cards immediately. (The metaphor of destroying credit cards is inspirational.) Although it says "six leaves," I'll limit myself to two or three. Why wear? To remove the top, put the shredder in Clear Jam mode. Of course, leave it "off" so kids don't play with it, or better yet, leave it unplugged, away from them. Please be careful with the blades - it's like having a lawn mower in your office. It wasn't exactly a cheap price, but you get what you pay for in life. I recommend.
