Review on Thor THPW1000 1000W Pure Inverter by Tim Harrington

I purchased a 1000w pure sine wave inverter and it arrived damaged - the shipping carton and packaging were intact so I am inclined to believe it Item was damaged and delivered. I contacted Thor directly and was told I had to go through Revane. I didn't want to do that because, as I suspected, if I try to exchange it for a new one, all I can do is return it and buy it again. I don't understand why I should "buy again" a damaged item that always appears more expensive than what I originally paid for - in this case $135 more to be exact. So I have a damaged item that needs to be exchanged, but I'm only allowed to send it back. Of course I know I have to pay an extra $135 if I want a working one. It doesn't make sense why I can't get an exact one-for-one replacement on a damaged unit. Revain advertises easy free returns and yes I can return it with no problems; but I ordered one for a reason and what you learn the hard way is always more expensive when you want the item you really wanted.
