I am using this stand to raise my Samsung all in one computer to a proper ergonomic height. It is working well for that purpose, but the smell of the stand is almost unbearable. It doesn't smell like a typical wood stain that furniture, doors, or wood trim would smell like. It is just a very foul smell. So, I have wiped the whole thing down with a damp cloth 6 times which helped, but the smell is still there, and seems to be worst inside the drawer / shelf area. So, I just wiped the insides of that area with cleaner, and the smell is getting better! Overall, I am happy with the looks, the design, and the functionality, just not the smell!UPDATE 7/30/12: The smell inside the drawer area keeps coming back even after cleaning it! The seller is refunding my purchase. Excellent customer service by the seller!
