Review on 🔍 Vacmaster VDK611PF 0201 6-Gallon Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum with Advanced Filter Cleaning System by Trina Taylor

I bought this cleaner because I liked the attachment set and the cable retraction function. Received and tried on 03/15/2021, suction power is good, nozzles are good, relatively quiet. However when I tugged on the cord I found that it does not retract - it broke right out of the box! Contacted warranty service and explained the problem to Donna. She said they needed to replace the unit and immediately submitted a warranty claim form. I sent back a warranty claim on 03/29/2021 with all the required requirements, one of which was cutting the power cord to disable the device. I didn't get a reply so I contacted them by phone to make sure they received it. Shante confirmed the email was in her inbox, but the claim hasn't been processed yet. Having received NO message from warranty service, I sent an email on 04/16/2021 requesting a status update and received a reply with a confirmation number and was told that the unit was ordered and was delivered on 05/01. should arrive /2021. Having received NO communication from warranty service, I sent an email on 05/12/2021 requesting a status update. On May 14, 2021, I received feedback that the device had been ordered and should arrive on June 10, 2021. Having received NO communication from warranty service, I emailed on 06/17/2021 requesting a status update. On June 22, 2021, I received feedback that the device had been ordered and should arrive on July 5, 2021. On 6/24/2021 I emailed the warranty service requesting a refund and said the unit was in stock at Revain the whole time while I was waiting for the unit to be replaced. Let's see how it goes. NOT a happy camper and just wants a working vacuum!
