3000 miles in 7 days and nothing has changed. Tip if like me you're doing it with a hitch. Take a towel and wrap the steering wheel. The bike still moves, you may end up with a broken rear window. Mine wasn't moving enough or I didn't feel it. Tip number 2: you will turn this thing with a ratchet, and even in this case you will have doubts that it has come loose and the steering wheel is shrinking. So make sure you don't drop your bike when unbuckling the strap on one side. I would start on the opposite side of the truck, in this case it's leaning toward the car. Again, a towel comes in handy, if it even tilts then there's a good chance your rear window will survive.
