I usually wear skechers but I'm going on a trip and the skechers I wanted don't come in time so I bought them. I am very happy with them. They are almost identical to the Skechers Women's Summits-Quick Getaway running shoes. Extremely light but they appear to be durable. I only use them for walking so I don't need the super support you need for running or other athletics. You felt comfortable from day one. First I tried them without socks. They were a bit slippery inside. They're perfect for when I just need to run away and don't want to mess around with socks, but I think I'll usually wear them with socks. I'm usually 8 or 8-1/2. I got them in size 8. They also fit perfectly with socks and have plenty of room in the toe area. Lots of padding around the ankle. One thing I had to get used to was that the shoe was quite high at the top and almost completely touching the front of the ankle. There was enough padding so I just had to get used to it. On the plus side it keeps my ankle from slipping out of the shoe. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend them, especially if you usually wear Skechers.
