I bought Bissell after another vacuum cleaner died. The area to be cleaned is quite large, so there is a lot to clean and the vacuum cleaner wears out a lot. There are also a few people who have pets, both dogs and cats, using the area. The hair of these pets will clog the roller and cause the belt to break. I had to replace the belt less than twenty-four hours after unboxing the Bissell. Strangely, the big store that sells vacuum cleaners doesn't sell belts, so I came here and ordered a few. I replaced the belt with one of these and it worked for three days before snapping. I replaced it again and eight days later it's still working. I suspect most of the pet hair causing the problem has been removed so the straps should last longer.
