I live in a house that is usually a few degrees hotter than I like. This little air cooler allows me to stay much cooler at my desk without turning on the air conditioning for the whole house. It's immediately noticeable how much colder the air is compared to something like a regular desktop fan. I've used it on battery power and it lasts quite a while, but I like to leave it plugged into a spare USB charger. lock so I can keep high settings without draining my battery. It has several different oscillation options, as well as low and high misting settings. As soon as the tank is empty, the fog function switches off automatically. The water condenses on the grate in front of the fan but simply flows back into the tank. I haven't found a random drop anywhere, so it looks like it's hidden pretty well. I like to freeze water in a small container overnight and then set it on the cooler and pour it into a cold water bottle to top it up and keep everything cold. It also works after bed, even on high settings (plugged in) after I started it coming home from work. At least 8 hours, maybe more. To me this is a great table fan, just obviously not aimed at electronics.
