The price was low and the product works. I previously bought a similar product from a competitor and returned it when I wasn't happy with it. This set is better. I like to have two Ripper devices in different locations around the house in case one of them can't be found. I'll say one thing: these big and small rippers could be even better if you could attach caps. / on the back of the handle while using it. Only the small ones have caps that fit on the back of the handle and those caps don't stay there. Caps make short handles longer and easier to use. In addition, it will be more difficult to lose the cap. There may be other rippers that are better - with a sharper blade, thinner tip, longer handle and the ability to store the cap during use. But these better stitch separators will be more expensive. and they probably don't come in a handy 8-pack so you can keep a few at home.
