I am 78, 5'10" and 195-200 lbs. These are my dreamed about briefs. Read all the reviews and ordered the 2XL. I think that the XL would also have fit due to a little stretch in the fabrication (I prefer a looser fit). The 2XL fits close to my body, allows for comfortable movement, does not roll down or ride up. Because I am tall the wide waist band came right at my waist and felt firm, but not at all tight. The leg opening is just the right diameter and does not bind or ride up. Overall, well constructed attention to detail, superb comfortable fit , lovely saturated colors and these briefs will cover your backside! Bonus: got mine 2 days after I ordered with prime. Also, manufacturer enclosed a card with their email address for any comments or problems. I'm so happy to have found briefs that FIT, in a great fabrication, that I am right now going to order more to sleep in.
