I got these for my daughter to wear on our upcoming winter trip to Big Sky, Montana. I ordered a large and I’m glad I did. I expected them to be much larger so we could wear them over another layer. There is barely room for that. I’m 5’5” 120 lbs and they are slightly loose. I normally wear a small. They are a warm inner fleece and the material is a comfortable thickness. I think these will be great as a base layer. Order 2 sizes larger for a comfortable fit and 3 sizes larger if u want to wear another layer under. Order up 1 size if you want a comfortable snug base layer. For less than $20 I think they are a great deal. I can update in January on the warmth factor when she wears them in freezing cold temps:) The measurements I show in my pics are for a woman's large.
