Bruh, even if you're generous with where you measure, it's not six inches.

Kurt, no matter how many times you try to convince us that 5-1/4" is 6", we know the difference. You may have convinced your soulmate, but I have a ruler. This is a common problem with your products. You say waste is a thing and you even include a chart showing how you measure, but when the product comes out it's shorter. The actual drop of this thing compared to a standard hitch is less than 5 inches; If you're very generous in measuring, by manipulating the ruler to measure incredibly far beyond the balls, you'll end up with just over 5 inches of drop. Kurt, it's not 6 inches. I need 6 full inches for a multi day trip. I don't know if it's this time of year or what, but every vendor that could get me a traditional ball mount with a 6" time drop has sold out. None of the local auto parts stores had anything that might work. It was the only way. I would return it if I didn't need it. It fits the receiver incredibly loosely, as others have pointed out; It looks like Kurt has an honesty issue with her size as well. It's well built apart from that false advertising. Notice how the angle of the photo makes it look like I'm not holding the ruler straight with the receiver. I was. I have also repeatedly confirmed by comparison to other drop receivers and by measuring the distance from the top of the ball to the ground that the true drop (by Kurt's own measuring system) is just under 5 inches.
