I bought an HP NVME 512GB SSD and decided next week to use HP S700 Pro 1TB for backup/storage and HP Ex950 512GB PCIe NVME SSD for OS drive and more. Another thing I want is super fast. Replaced all laptop drives in my just purchased Asus Gl503vs laptop. I had sshd 1tb firecuda and this s700 pro is at least 5x faster. Another HP NVME drive is 27-30 times faster. This s700 pro was a steal compared to most SSDs so I'm very glad it should extend the life of my gaming laptop. Updated 3/26/19: I love this SSD, it's fast, perfect for any system, no problems so far. I wish HP would provide SSD software for tweaking and updating, but they don't. My s700 ssd runs about the advertised speed, but the nvme m.2 hp ex950 isn't quite as fast as it should be. Apart from very little support in case of problems, this SSD drive is a bargain and I recommend it.
