Hanging lids came in handy for me. I have concerns about the color being enough to protect the oils. Roll-on bottles are usually amber or dark blue for some reason. For those who think roles don't work, I can understand why they think that way. These rollers produce a much thinner layer of oil than others. I recommend testing the bottle on a tissue or paper towel before deciding they don't work. The only reason I know they do this is because the blend I use the most is peppermint and is strong enough to be felt in even a very thin layer. The labels provided are very cute and match the caps so you don't have to cover the bottle if you don't want to.
