I wasn't sure if I would like this product

I decided to wait almost a month before writing this review. I wasn't sure if I would like this product but let me just say I loved it! Background: I have a double joint in my left shoulder and it has always been weaker and required more attention during training. On December 15th, I was doing incline dumbbell presses and didn't think about the last heavy set. As I lost concentration, I dislocated my shoulder while holding 70#s in my hand. He suffered serious bruises and injuries to his shoulder. I ordered these braces on a Tuesday expecting them to work and I will be returning them. I received it on Wednesday and went to the practice. I went to the gym and was gentle on my shoulder but not easy on the muscles. I found that while wearing the brace, I was able to do more push-ups with less shoulder pain than previous attempts. I've found that pull-ups don't put any strain on the shoulder compared to no plank. Simple things like driving don't tire my shoulder when wearing a corset. Also, people ask this all the time because it makes you look like Mad Max when you wear it in public. I only have two complaints: 1. I bought a large, per the sizing recommendations. However, the strap and bicep loop never fit properly, and the bottom of the cuff near my armpit always cuts into my arm (even with the strap loosened). It's not scary but can be quite annoying.2. The included Velcro isn't always snug against the chest, which I prefer when working out. I'm pretty sure it wasn't designed for that, so I place the strap on the bottom of the brace and probably find another piece of velcro to pull and tighten the diagonal straps. Otherwise, I highly recommend this bandage. . I'm hoping to avoid surgery for as long as possible and the brace seems to be helping me achieve that goal!
