I have used electronic toothbrushes for many years but I never use sonic. I used another grade O.-B with round heads recommended by a dentist. I needed a new toothbrush when my previous one stopped holding a charge after years of use. I used it for about half a month absolutely free and decided to order a new one when my nozzle was 3 months old. I charged it one last time two nights ago and was woken up when it turned on in the docking station. It doesn't turn off until I remove the battery! I had ordered my AquaSonic a few hours earlier. It arrived this morning and after brushing I felt my teeth were cleaner than my previous brush when it was new. Actually, I have the feeling that there is no comparison! The feeling was more intense than I'm used to, but I was able to use the cleaning function without any problems. I felt vibrations deep in my teeth and gums, not just on the surface. When I finished rinsing, I ran my tongue over my teeth and the feeling was the same as walking out of the dentist's office! I also tried the polishing function with my charcoal toothpowder. Once again I was very happy with the result! I estimated this toothbrush was just over 1/3 what I paid at the dentist for another one and it came with 2.5 year replacement brush heads! I love how small the brush head is, I felt it reached into smaller spaces like behind my molars better than larger heads. I also liked the timer feature, which let me know when to switch zones to ensure all surfaces of my teeth were brushed properly. I hope the toothbrush holds up well, the build quality seemed reasonable. Maybe not as strong a feeling as with my previous toothbrush, but I see it as an advantage, especially when travelling. The travel bag is very good. Not as plasticy feeling as my previous toothbrush. I wish it had a head cap when it's on my counter. I must find or invent something for this purpose. The packaging was sufficient. The outer box was badly damaged on one corner, but the seals were intact and the molded inner packaging protected the toothbrush, brush heads and charger from damage. The packaging wasn't the slightest amount, but it was minimal and recyclable. I would buy this toothbrush again for myself or my family members and for now I can recommend it!
