1st, this thing took almost a month to get here, I wasn't thrilled with it but well, now I have it. I have an old Craftsman lathe with an MT1 head and tailstock. I needed this so I could use the MT2 tailstocks and it seems to be doing the job well. The MT2 inner cone seems a little long so the outer cone on my MT2 tailstock barely reaches the keyway to push it out. It wasn't too difficult, I was able to insert a bolt into the hole in the male cone which then protruded into the slot in the female cone far enough for the cone wrench to engage to loosen the male cone. .I will add an update later when I have a chance to use it properly.
