Pairing this speaker is as easy as pressing and holding the power button and turning on Bluetooth on your phone. A simple big button to turn on the flashing LED even when Bluetooth and music are off. The charging cable is the same as your old Android Micro USB. I took a picture of the charger to show that the white LEDs on the top turn a neat red while charging. The plus and minus buttons that jump between songs double the volume if you hold them down. The buttons are made of hard rubber. There is a hole on the bottom for attaching the stand. The sound is clear and good, 5 watts, also with some bass. I like it very much, for my bathroom, end table, bedside table, back patio table. For a larger space or outdoors, you'll want something more.
