Some reviews say the lid was soft or easier to hold than other lids, but this one was softer and less sticky to the touch than my old lid. easy to slide in and out of your pocket, but not if you want to keep the soft, sticky case from dropping your phone. more for looks than functionality, but great value for money UNLESS you expect superior drop protection and more grip than a typical low-cost case. easy to turn on and off when that matters. in general i like it
