I bought these to fit in a kitchen cabinet that is only about 3 inches deep. It's connected to an Apple Airport Express through a tiny 90W amp and sounds pretty good. So if you want good sound for your music and the room isn't deep and doesn't lend itself to stereo, take one of these and feed it both the left and right channels (I combined them with the amp and then used them only one channel of it).Mono sound is underrated: Unless you're listening somewhere in the middle from two subtly separate speakers, you're better off with a single channel of sound. Save stereo for rooms in your house that have a good stereo system is present sound is possible and probable.
