Review on DTY Outdoor Living Longs Peak Eucalyptus Sideboard, Espresso by Jose Ballard

Revainrating 3 out of 5

you'll need a drill, drill counter-sink, and pliers.

This looks great, far better than plastic. It feels solid and sturdy. The assembly instructions are clear and simple. I would give it 5 stars except assembly had several issues, and anyone who buys this without access to some tools will be in trouble.12 of the pre-drilled holes are about 1/32" too small, so the large screws would not 'bite'. This problem will be even worse in warm humid weather when the wood swells.Another 12 holes (for the top and shelf) simply weren't there. Also, the pre-drilled attachment points were not beveled (to accept flat head screws). One door clip did not fit into the hasp. Bending it with pliers was an easy fix.

Pros
  • Long-lasting and low-maintenance
Cons
  • May need additional anchoring for stability
