I was so happy when I found these night lights because they are quite bright and can be used to light up our dark corridors and rooms. I used to leave the lights on in a small pantry so no one would trip up and down the stairs, but I've been able to place them in different spots around the house and now it's easy to see what's around so I don't trip . They're also automatic sensors, so they turn off as soon as the sun is bright enough so energy isn't wasted. I will say that they are quite bright. So if you like sleeping in the dark they're probably overkill, but for my kids who don't like the dark they were a great addition to their rooms.
