Prunus has been making retro radios for a while, with the latest incarnation being the J-110. The J-160 was a great success as it had excellent selectivity (I could hear an NPR station next to a loud R&R station!) and high sensitivity: the SW really worked and wasn't overdue. very retro and has all the benefits of 160 including blue tooth. It plays my memory cards cleanly and loudly and fills my office with sound that doesn't skimp on bass or treble. ten times cheaper! And unlike the competition, radio reception isn't an afterthought: this little guy really works! hrs. I found nothing wrong with the Prunus devices and admittedly bought them before Christmas to give away. One of my friends up north, a folk music reviewer, agreed that the sound quality was exceptional. He liked the retro style and the size: put it on the shelf and enjoy! My sisters loved it so much they ordered it as a Christmas present for their kids. I am looking forward to the next generation of Prunus devices. The radio is as good as it gets and I'll be a happy pup!
